Probably the earliest table grape in the world after early of Cirava, of Latvian origin, sold in a 3-liter pot, with a height of approximately 40 - 50 cm (much earlier than pearl of Csaba, considered as the earliest vinifera). Breeder: Gunvaldis Vesmins.

Marketed for the first time, it is the only grape vine, to our knowledge, capable of reaching full maturity in the upper Ardennes (500m altitude) in early September. Its resistance to winter cold is estimated at -23 degrees C.

It produces medium, rather loose clusters, with berries about 1.5 cm in diameter, white-yellow, very sweet (17 ° Brix when ripe), muscated with a floral aroma, delicious. Very vinifera-like taste.

In the high Ardennes, it resists to mildew bu can be infected by powdery mildew when it grows agains a wall exposed to S-W; in open field it isn't infected. (eventually, use sulfur preventively, which is a bio treatment)
