When planting a grape vine?

We only sell grape vines in big 3 litres pots. Therefore they can be planted throughout the year, with an excellent recovery, provided that they were watered at the beginning.

Other advantage of plants in pot is that they are planted with their ball, without damaging the roots. The grape vine does not undergo shock planting and continues to grow without stopping, and you can save nearly one year.

Bare root grape vines could be planted only in period of dormancy, that is to say late fall to early spring: "à la Sainte Catherine, tout arbre prend racine" says a french proverb (at St. Catherine, every tree takes root).
